Last Mountain Times

Last Mountain Times, with offices in Nokomis, SK., has been published continuously since 1908, starting off originally as the Nokomis Times. Over the years it has absorbed many local papers. In the early 1990’s the name was changed to Last Mountain Times to better reflect the area served.
The newspaper has had only four main owners, with the current owner being Linda Degenstien who purchased the business in 2011 with her late husband and former LMT Editor David Degenstien. It is a family-owned and operated business. In early 2018, the newspaper made a major expansion move, taking over the territory abandoned by the Lumsden Waterfront Press. Now printing 4,800 papers each week, Last Mountain Times is delivered free to all mailboxes in Nokomis, Raymore, Semans, Govan, Strasbourg / Duval, Bulyea, Early Grey, Silton, Southey, Craven, Lumsden, Regina Beach, Buena Vista, and Bethune. The newspaper also offers a free, online weekly subscription.
